Homewood Foundation

The Homewood Foundation is a
public foundation which raises and grants funds in support of mental
health research. The Foundation offers donors the opportunity to invest
in work that will significantly improve mental health care services
and outcomes.
In 2003, most grants, corporate
and individual donations to the Foundation will be directed to support
the Homewood Research Institute. The Foundation also offers donors the
opportunity to endow a gift through the Foundation endowment fund.
Projects the Foundation is funding include:
- Telepsychiatry project in Belize
- Homewood Addiction Division Spiritual Renewal program
- Four semi-annual psychiatric nursing scholarships for students
graduating from Conestoga College
- Alzheimer's
Research Resource Exchange web site for the Murray
Alzheimer Research and Education Program at the University
of Waterloo
- Permanent outdoor labyrinth on Homewood Health Centre grounds
